The First Page

I've started to read and organize how to compile my journals. I've found 12, hoping that I'll still stumble across at least another at my parent's place. I decided to start from the beginning, my very first proper travel journal. A solid, patterned, red bound book with a magnet flap and ribbon book mark. She looks how a travel journal should: heavy, worn, and full of loose slips of paper.

I'm surprised how detailed I am with the start of my travels. It's interesting how my style of writing, thoughts, and experiences have developed from this. My handwriting is even a little better now, some days anyway.
